Lakewood's Public Safety Department hosts a number of events, including:

Coffee with a Deputy

Join us for a cup of joe and a friendly chat at our "Coffee with a Deputy" sessions with Lakewood's Special Assignment Team of deputy sheriffs and members of Lakewood's Public Safety Department. Ask a question about public safety, get crime prevention tips, or just say hello.

Public Safety Expo

Summer fun and safety are the focus of this free family-friendly event held in June. Take pictures with our "eye in the sky" helicopter Sky Knight, see amazing public safety demonstrations, and enjoy a range of free activities and educational opportunities. 

Seasonal City of Lakewood family events

The Public Safety staff takes part in the city's family-friendly events, offering fun games and candy for the kids as well as information on crime prevention, emergency preparedness and even volunteer opportunities.
