Rynerson Park

Field of orange flowers at Rynerson Park, Lakewood, CA

Rynerson Park, dedicated in 1990, offers 40 acres of open space, including a bike trail head, walking trails, picnic shelter and baseball diamonds (operated by Lakewood Little League).

The park is located on the east side of the San Gabriel River on Studebaker Road just south of Del Amo Boulevard.

The Homerun Dog Park is located adjacent to Rynerson Park.

Formerly named River Park, Rynerson Park was named after Jacqueline Rynerson, former mayor of Lakewood and a leader in the acquisition and development of the park.

Its diverse mix of open space, outdoor fitness equipment and cooperative Little League use illustrate the city commitments which made Lakewood a Sportstown USA city.
